Cheryl Butler

Cheryl recently retired from Chevron Corp after 34 years, working as an engineer and project manager on major construction and environmental projects in the US, Nigeria, Kazakhstan and Venezuela.  She was proud to represent Utah as a delegate to the Democratic National Convention in 2016 and is currently the Chair of the Summit County Democratic Party.  She serves on the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity for Summit & Wasatch Counties, teaches ESL to adult immigrants through the Park City School District, volunteers in the Utah Sierra Club, the League of Women Voters, the Rotary Club and spends time encouraging young people to pursue careers in STEM through the Society of Women Engineers.  Cheryl is also the Director of the Talem Foundation which funds sustainable development projects in developing countries around the world.
